 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. EKO BRIDGE REPAIRS: LASG ROLLS OUT DIVERSION PLAN


 The Lagos State Government has announced that traffic will be diverted away from Eko Bridge to facilitate emergency repairs by the Federal Ministry of Works. The diversion will commence on Monday, 16th September, 2024, and will last for Eight Weeks.


The repairs will be carried out in four phases, during which the bridge will be intermittently fully or partially closed, depending on the work schedule.


Motorists are advised to use the following alternative routes during the repairs:


Motorists heading to the Island from Funsho Williams Avenue can make use of the service lane at Alaka to connect Costain and access Eko Bridge to continue their journeys.


Alternatively, Motorists heading to the Island can access Costain to connect Eko Bridge to link Apongbon for their destinations.


Motorists can also connect Apongbon inwards Eko Bridge to link Costain to access Funsho Williams Avenue.


Motorists can also make use of Costain inwards Alaka/Funsho Williams Avenue or alternately go through Apapa Road from Costain and link Oyingbo to access Adekunle to link Third Mainland Bridge for their desired destinations.


In the same vein Motorists heading to Surulere are advised to use Costain to link Breweries inwards Abebe Village to connect Eric Moore/Bode Thomas to get to their destinations.


The Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, assures that Lagos State Traffic Management Authority officers will be deployed to the rehabilitation areas and alternative routes to minimise travel delays and inconvenience.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
