 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Father Admits to Gifting Weapon used in Georgia School Shooting



A 14-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of four people in a high school shooting in Georgia, while his father faces multiple manslaughter charges, according to a CNN report on Thursday. Colin Gray, 54, is facing charges that include four counts of involuntary manslaughter and two counts of second-degree murder. His son, Colt Gray, is accused of using an AR-style rifle to kill two students and two teachers during the attack at Apalachee High School on Wednesday.


The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) revealed that Colt will be tried as an adult and faces four counts of felony murder. The shooting also left seven others injured, including six students and one teacher, with two additional students sustaining non-gunshot-related injuries. GBI Director Chris Hosey stated that Colin Gray is being charged for "knowingly allowing" his son to possess a weapon, which was reportedly purchased as a Christmas gift.


This tragic shooting, which occurred just weeks into the new school year, is the 45th school shooting in the US this year, marking the deadliest since the March 2023 incident at The Covenant School in Nashville, which claimed six lives. Authorities have confirmed that the nine injured in this latest attack are expected to fully recover.
