 STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE AND HER FAMILY   With a deep sense of grief, I condole with Ms Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband, Dr Ivara Esege, and the entire family on the passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi.   As a parent myself who has suffered the loss of a loved one, no grief is as devastating as losing a child.   I empathise with the family at this difficult time, and I mourn this sad loss with them.   Ms Adichie is a literary icon who has brought joy and light to many homes globally, and I pray she and her family find strength in the Almighty in this trying hour.   My prayers are with the family.   Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria January 8, 2026

Nollywood actress and Queen of Surprises Empress Njamah has bitterly lamented over her inability to surprise her colleague, Mercy Johnson and her husband

Reported on August 27th that Mercy Johnson and her husband celebrated their wedding anniversary, and two days later, the movie star celebrated her 40th birthday. Empress, who runs a surprise company, had tried to surprise the movie star for four days, but all her efforts were fruitless.


Narrating the incident on her YouTube page, she noted how she tried contacting the couple, but they didn’t respond. Empress revealed that she had tried reaching her through Yvonne Jegede, but it didn’t go through


Despite this, she described the actress as an amazing person as she celebrated her and her husband’s marital milestone. Empress recounted how she was with Mercy when she got married and is grateful that their marriage is still waxing stronger.


“Been trying to reach out to @mercyjohnsonokojie and her husband @princeodiokojie since like forever but to no avail.


It wasn’t easy trying to surprise Mercy and her husband for four days.


For the first time in my years of surprising people, Mercy surprised me. I have been calling you but you haven’t been picking.


Happy birthday to an amazing person and happy anniversary. You know your anniversary means so much to me.


You know how we had sleepless nights on the night of your anniversary. How you were always checking up on your husband, if he was okay and I was in the hotel trying to get the Chief Bridesmaids and everybody ready. You cried a lot and was so sweet in the wedding”.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
