 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken.  Go And Pay Your Respect To Filmmaking Experts – RMD Sends Advice To Basketmouth

Veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) has offered words of advice to comedian-turned-filmmaker, Basketmouth.


RMD advised him to seek guidance from experts in the movie industry as he launches his debut movie, “A Ghetto Love Story.”


Speaking via Instagram, the thespian congratulated Basketmouth on his bold move, emphasising that filmmaking requires more than raw talent.


He asserted that filmmaking does not require talent alone, but also learning from experts who have paved the way.


He recommended collaborating with established filmmakers, like Funke Akindele, Mo Abudu, AY Makun and Kunle Afolayan as industry heavyweights worth seeking out.


RMD said: “Congratulations on your new film ‘A Ghetto Love Story’. I say make I call you, hail you first and then give you advice. You know you are entering a place where people have already established. Hold ground.


“You fit press things for different places. This is not comedy. Do not do it anyhow. This na film.


“When you enter, go find people wey hold ground. People wey dey control the whole area. All of them like Funke Akindele, Mo Abudu, AY, Kunle Afolayan and other people wey dey do film well. Wey be oga. Call them.


“Tell them you want to know one or two things. Comedy with Buchi fit work, but that na after you don pay respect to people wey hold ground.”
