 Australian police say Islamic State inspired Bondi Beach mass shooting  Australian authorities have declared that the mass shooting which killed 15 people during a Hanukkah celebration at Sydney’s Bondi Beach was a terrorist attack inspired by the Islamic State group. Federal Police Commissioner Krissy Barrett said investigators reached that conclusion based on evidence recovered during the investigation. Officials identified the suspects as a father and son, aged 50 and 24. The older man, Sajid Akram, was shot and killed by police at the scene, while his son remains hospitalized under guard. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said investigators found Islamic State flags inside a vehicle linked to the attackers, reinforcing concerns that the violence was ideologically motivated. Of the dozens wounded in the attack, 25 people remain hospitalized, including 10 in critical condition. Three of the injured are children receiving care at a pediatric hospital.  ‘If it were Tinubu, he’d have given us something’, Portable laments after meeting Obi


Popular Nigerian singer, Portable has expressed his disappointment after meeting Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate.


The two met over the weekend in Benin, the capital of Edo State.


Obi was in Benin to support Olumide Akpata, the Labour Party’s gubernatorial candidate, while Portable was there for a show.


In a video that has since gone viral, the excited singer is seen bowing as he approaches the former Anambra State governor by his car, with both men exchanging pleasantries.


However, shortly after the encounter, Portable appeared visibly disappointed and lamented that Obi did not offer him any money.


Speaking in Yoruba, the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ crooner compared Obi unfavorably to Bola Tinubu, suggesting that the president would have been more generous in such a situation.

“Obi didn’t give us anything. If it was Tinubu, he would have given us something. Let’s go,” he said.


Portable, whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola, rose to fame in December 2021 with his hit single ‘Zazoo Zeh’, featuring Olamide and Poco Lee.


Since then, he has remained in the public eye, often for controversial reasons.
