 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  ‘I’ll be back in 2025’ — TG Omori says amid battle with failed kidney transplant


Ailing Nigerian music director and cinematographer, ThankGod Omori Smith, better known as TG Omori or Boy Director, has assured his fans that he would make a comeback in 2025.

 

TG Omori on August 26, 2024, underwent unsuccessful kidney transplant at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos, after his only brother donated for him.


Giving an update in a series of tweets on Monday, Omori emphasised the importance of maintaining the right mindset in the face of illness.


Sharing a photo of himself, he wrote; “It’s mind over matter. If the mind is defeated, it’s only a matter of time before the body falls.


“Pain has no power over me. I will be back in 2025. Stay in love!.”
