 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.  ‘I’ll be back in 2025’ — TG Omori says amid battle with failed kidney transplant


Ailing Nigerian music director and cinematographer, ThankGod Omori Smith, better known as TG Omori or Boy Director, has assured his fans that he would make a comeback in 2025.

 

TG Omori on August 26, 2024, underwent unsuccessful kidney transplant at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos, after his only brother donated for him.


Giving an update in a series of tweets on Monday, Omori emphasised the importance of maintaining the right mindset in the face of illness.


Sharing a photo of himself, he wrote; “It’s mind over matter. If the mind is defeated, it’s only a matter of time before the body falls.


“Pain has no power over me. I will be back in 2025. Stay in love!.”
