 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. INDIANA STATE POLICE LAUNCHES AN INVESTIGATION AFTER 3 CHILDREN AND A WOMAN WERE FOUND DEAD IN THEIR HOME. (PHOTO).

 Indiana State Police launches an investigation after 3 children and a woman were found deceased in an Indiana home.


Officers with the Wolcottville Police Department were called to execute a welfare check to a residence on S. Main Street in Wolcottville, Indiana at approximately 11:20 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept 17th.


Once on the scene, police were shocked to discover the deceased bodies of 3 children and a woman. The local police department contacted ISP and their detectives responded to the scene.


The identities and manner of death is expected to be shared publicly on Wednesday, September 18th, after the Noble County Coroner's office completes the autopsies. 


The ISP has stated "although the matter remains under investigation there is no danger to the public at this time".
