 Nonye Soludo Pays Follow-Up Visit to Recovering Child, Reaffirms Commitment to Child Protection By Chinyere Nwoye  The Wife of the  Anambra State Governor, Dr. Nonye Soludo, has paid another visit to young Chiziterem to monitor his recovery and encourage his family, expressing delight over the remarkable improvement in the child's health. Mrs. Soludo disclosed this in a post shared on her official social media page on June 22, where she noted that the young boy is now much stronger than he was during her previous visit. According to her, Chiziterem's steady recovery is a testament to the dedication and professionalism of the medical team handling his treatment, as well as the overwhelming love, prayers, and support received from compassionate individuals. She commended everyone who has continued to stand by the child and his family throughout the difficult period, stressing that their collective efforts have contributed significantly to his progress.  Kaduna: Repent or face indignation – NSCDC warns bandits, criminals


The Kaduna State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has warned bandits and criminal elements to repent or face the consequences of their heinous actions.

The new Commandant of the command, Mr Nuhu Muhammad, gave the warning during the visit of acting Zonal Commander, NSCDC Zone B, Kaduna, Mr Amos Abiodun, on Friday in Kaduna.

Muhammad said criminals disturbing the peace and stability of the state should repent from their nefarious attitudes and be good citizens, or face the consequence of their criminal behaviours.

He explained that the mandate of NSCDC as a security agency was to protect lives, property and critical national assets and infrastructure.

The new Commandant said NSCDC in Kaduna would pursue its mandates vigorously.

He appealed to residents across the state to always volunteer information of suspected criminals around their environments to the corps and other security agencies for necessary action.

He reassured Kaduna residents of the safety of their lives and property.

“They should go to their beds and sleep with their two eyes closed.

”NSCDC personnel have been deployed to every nook and cranny of the state to guard against enemy attacks,” he advised.
