 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. LAGOS RELEASES 2024 BECE RESULTS. (PHOTO). #PRESS RELEASE.

 The Lagos State Government has released the results of the Year 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).


A statement signed by the Director of Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu informed both Public and Approved Private Junior Secondary Schools in the State that the Year 2024 BECE Results have been released The statement urged authorities concerned to visit the Board’s Portal: https://examsboard.lagosstate.gov.ng using their schools’ default or existing Usernames and Passwords provided during the registration of their students to enable them to print out their Schools’ results with effect from Monday, 23rd September, 2024.


Mr. Orunsolu pointed out that all concerned schools in the State are allowed to have direct access to their results online to eliminate the burden and stress associated with coming to the Board for the physical collection of the results.

The Director added that the initiative would also eliminate the delay usually associated with getting the results in good time.


He further revealed that the date for the conduct of the BECE Resit Examination for students who failed English Studies or Mathematics or both would be duly communicated to all affected schools in due course.


Mr. Orunsolu commended all stakeholders for their cooperation and for being part of the success story of the new policy of the Board.
