 A Limpopo man who stabbed his girlfriend to death in front of his own mother will spend the next 20 years in prison. The Polokwane High Court sentenced 48 year old Nathaniel Molatelo Mokgehle from Sekonye Village in the Botlokwa policing area for the murder of his girlfriend, 41 year old Mokgadi Julia Mohlaela. The court heard he chased her out of the house and continued stabbing her until she collapsed and died. Mokgehle also received six months for malicious damage to property. The sentence will run at the same time as the 20 year murder sentence. Evidence presented in court showed the victim had previously opened a malicious damage to property case against him. He was still attending court for that case when the murder happened. The attack happened on 08 June 2025 around 16:00 at his mother’s home in Sekonye Village.  Man Strips Himself NAKED, Cuts Off His Pènis, Cooks & Eats It With Bread, See Why Police Arrested Him


A 23- year- old Kwekwe man, Panankosi Phiri, has appeared in court charged with rape after a series of disturbing events. The case has left the community in shock and horror.

According to reports, Phiri allegedly raped a 10- year- old girl, who is the granddaughter of his employer. The victim was threatened with death if she resisted. This heinous crime was only brought to light after Phiri’ s self- mutilation incident.

The National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ) has revealed that Phiri forced the young girl into an unfinished building and raped her. The authority has applied for and received court approval for Phiri to undergo a mental health examination.

In a twisted turn of events, Phiri allegedly cut off his own manhood with a knife and ate it with bread as a sandwich. This act of self- mutilation was committed while he was screaming that the 10- year- old rape victim was his wife.

The police memo dated September 18th, 2024, provides a chilling account of the events leading up to Phiri’ s self- mutilation. Phiri exhibited erratic behavior, slashing his wrists with a knife and causing significant bleeding. His employer attempted to intervene, but Phiri’ s violent outburst prevented her from helping.

The police memo paints a grim picture, stating that Phiri went on to completely cut off his manhood, wrapped it with bread, and then proceeded to eat it. During this self- mutilation, Phiri repeatedly called out the young girl’ s name, referring to her as his wife.

Phiri is currently receiving medical treatment at a Gweru hospital and is scheduled to reappear in court on October 8th, 2024. The case has raised concerns about the safety and well- being of children in the community, and the need for increased vigilance and protection.

The incident has also sparked debate about mental health and the need for support and resources for individuals struggling with mental health issues. Phiri’ s actions are a clear indication of a deeper psychological issue that needs to be addressed.

As the case continues, the community remains in shock, and the young girl and her family are receiving counseling and support. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of protecting children and ensuring their safety and well- being.
