John Mahama carried out an aerial assessment of flood-hit communities across Accra after torrential rainfall caused widespread flooding in the capital. On Monday, June 29, the Ghanaian president flew over the affected areas alongside government officials and members of the Anti-Flood Task Force to evaluate the extent of the destruction. During the inspection, they identified major engineering and environmental issues contributing to the flooding. Watch video below.

In line with the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA), NNPC Ltd. remains dedicated to its role as the supplier of last resort, ensuring national energy security. We are actively collaborating with relevant government agencies and other stakeholders to maintain a consistent supply of petroleum products nationwide.
