 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  PDP Supporters Protest in Benin Over Collation of Election Results


Supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have gathered in large numbers at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Benin City, protesting the ongoing collation of results from Saturday’s governorship election.


Chanting slogans and waving party flags, the demonstrators voiced their dissatisfaction with the electoral process, alleging irregularities and demanding greater transparency in the tallying of votes at the state collation centre.


The protest comes amidst rising tensions following a closely contested election. PDP supporters insist that their grievances be addressed before the final results are announced.


In a video shared by Channels Television on Sunday, September 22, protesters are seen calling for fairness and accountability from INEC officials, urging the commission to ensure that all votes are counted accurately.


As the collation process continues, the atmosphere remains tense, with the PDP pushing for immediate attention to their concerns regarding the electoral process.
