 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  PDP Supporters Protest in Benin Over Collation of Election Results


Supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have gathered in large numbers at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Benin City, protesting the ongoing collation of results from Saturday’s governorship election.


Chanting slogans and waving party flags, the demonstrators voiced their dissatisfaction with the electoral process, alleging irregularities and demanding greater transparency in the tallying of votes at the state collation centre.


The protest comes amidst rising tensions following a closely contested election. PDP supporters insist that their grievances be addressed before the final results are announced.


In a video shared by Channels Television on Sunday, September 22, protesters are seen calling for fairness and accountability from INEC officials, urging the commission to ensure that all votes are counted accurately.


As the collation process continues, the atmosphere remains tense, with the PDP pushing for immediate attention to their concerns regarding the electoral process.
