 New UK Prime Minister not the leader Britain needs — Kemi Badenoch UK Conservative Party leader, Kemi Badenoch, has congratulated Andy Burnham on becoming Britain’s new prime minister but said while he is “a nice man,” the country needs a leader capable of making difficult decisions rather than “a people pleaser.” In a statement released on Monday on X following Burnham’s assumption of office, Badenoch wished the new prime minister success but vowed to hold his government accountable as Leader of the Opposition. “Today, Britain has a new Prime Minister. I wish Andy Burnham every success. Because we need a Prime Minister and a Government focused on fixing the public’s priorities,” she said.  Real estate company refutes Sophia Momodu’s house ownership claims


A real estate company publicly refutes claims that fashion entrepreneur Sophia Momodu, mother to Afrobeats star Davido’s daughter, Imade Adeleke, is the owner of a luxurious house she recently showcased online.

On Friday, September 20, Momodu took to Snapchat to give her followers a glimpse into what she implied was her newly purchased home.


The video featured a tour of the property’s interior, including a grand staircase and several empty rooms. The display left viewers impressed, sparking conversations across social media about her new acquisition.

However, just hours later, the real estate company associated with the property released a statement denying Momodu’s ownership of the house.


The company claimed that they sold the house to a client and that the client wasn’t Sophia as she doesn’t own a house with them.


In their statement, the company clarified, “It’s the effrontery and the guts to lie with so much confidence.”


The company did not provide further details on why the home was featured in her Snapchat video or if she had been involved in any preliminary negotiations regarding the purchase.

This public rebuttal has sparked mixed reactions online, with some fans expressing confusion, while others speculate whether the house tour was simply a preview of a future purchase or a promotional arrangement.
