  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous.  Real estate company refutes Sophia Momodu’s house ownership claims


A real estate company publicly refutes claims that fashion entrepreneur Sophia Momodu, mother to Afrobeats star Davido’s daughter, Imade Adeleke, is the owner of a luxurious house she recently showcased online.

On Friday, September 20, Momodu took to Snapchat to give her followers a glimpse into what she implied was her newly purchased home.


The video featured a tour of the property’s interior, including a grand staircase and several empty rooms. The display left viewers impressed, sparking conversations across social media about her new acquisition.

However, just hours later, the real estate company associated with the property released a statement denying Momodu’s ownership of the house.


The company claimed that they sold the house to a client and that the client wasn’t Sophia as she doesn’t own a house with them.


In their statement, the company clarified, “It’s the effrontery and the guts to lie with so much confidence.”


The company did not provide further details on why the home was featured in her Snapchat video or if she had been involved in any preliminary negotiations regarding the purchase.

This public rebuttal has sparked mixed reactions online, with some fans expressing confusion, while others speculate whether the house tour was simply a preview of a future purchase or a promotional arrangement.
