 TROOPS ARREST SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER, RECOVER AK-47 RIFLE ALONG BENIN–SAPELE ROAD Troops of 4 Brigade Nigerian Army, Operation WABAIZIGAN, have arrested a suspected kidnapper and recovered an AK-47 rifle and ammunition during a targeted operation along the Benin–Sapele Road in Ikpoba-Okha LGA of Edo State. The suspect, identified as Olamide Oyeniyi, was arrested on 12 September 2026 at Obaretin Community by troops conducting operations to disrupt criminal activities and safeguard major transportation routes within the area. Items recovered from the suspect include one AK-47 rifle, one magazine and eight rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition. Other items recovered are one Tecno mobile phone, two bags, one torchlight, one music box and assorted charms. The suspect and recovered items are currently in troops’ custody for further investigation, while efforts are ongoing to establish his links to other criminal elements and determine his possible involvement in kidnapping and related activi...

South Africans have launched a heartwarming campaign to raise R100,000 to bring Miss Universe Nigeria finalist ,Miss  Kwara to the country


The Nigerian model who was Miss Kwara in the pageant received tons of love from Mzansi due to her uniqueness


The initiative started five days ago by Twitter-now- X users who supported her greatly during the Miss Universe Nigeria competition by voting her to the top 3.


“We were thrilled to support Ufa Dania during her journey in the Miss Nigeria Universe beauty pageant, where her charm and vibrant personality won our hearts. As the X community in SA, we are eager to welcome her to our country and give her an unforgettable experience as we show her the beauty of SA,” said campaign organiser Reginald Mathule Kanyane.

Meanwhile, Dania expressed gratitude to South Africans who supported her.

“I’m grateful to every person who voted for me. God bless you from the bottom of my heart. You’ve shown me love. I wouldn’t be able to do this without you. My South Africans, my brothers and sisters from another mother. Where did you find me? I didn’t know I was going viral because in the camp we barely used our phones. Thank you so much to South Africans and every other country that supported me on this journey. Your money did not go to waste. It definitely did something. God bless you.
