 Jill Biden to release memoir View From the East Wing in June  Former First Lady Jill Biden will release her memoir, View from the East Wing, on June 2. The book reflects on her experiences during Joe Biden’s presidency, including his decision to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race. Published by Gallery Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, the memoir will also be available as an audio edition narrated by Biden herself. The book offers an intimate look at life as First Lady during major historical events, including the Covid-19 pandemic and the aftermath of January 6, while sharing her personal perspective on the presidency and its impact on her family. For the first time, she details her experiences surrounding her husband’s choice not to seek reelection, sharing both the uplifting and challenging moments of that period. Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has slammed a fan of her colleague and former rival, Funke Akindele, for putting down her hard work.


Toyin, who is gearing up for her cinema movie debuting in December, shared a throwback photo of her photoshoot for the crew of Ijakumo as she teased a photo shoot with the crew of her upcoming project.


A follower of hers, had compared it to Funke Akindele’s project, questioning why she must always copy Funke Akindele in everything.


“Must you copy Aunty Funke Akindele in everything Chai?”.


Replying to him, Toyin expressed how tired she is of people saying things about her hard work.


“Pls check my recent post cos I’m tired of you all saying this about my hard work.”


In a since-deleted post on her Instagram page, she stated that she was tired of people putting down her hard work as she noted how she celebrates her crew every time. She stressed that they should stop talking down on her hard work.


“Ijakumo crew photoshoot 2022. 2024, be ready for the Alakadabadandboujee crew. Throwback. Idome Iamme, I Am Tired of some of you people putting down my hard work. I work so hard. I celebrate my crew every time, pls stop talking down on my hard work pls.

It is no longer news that there have been years of rivalry between the two screen goddesses, Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele, as they have both dominated the TV screen for years and are still doing so.


However, the two ladies settled their differences last year as Toyin Abraham celebrated Funke on her birthday, and she reciprocated. Toyin had also attended Funke Akindele’s movie premiere, which further shut down rumours of animosity between the box office Queens.
