 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State.  WHY I APPOINTED FIRST FEMALE SSG - GOV. ALIA


The Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia says his administration has confidence and trust in Benue’s women ability to deliver on any responsibility given to them.


Governor Alia made this known at the Old Banquet Hall of the Benue State Government House Makurdi while swearing in the first female Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Barr. Aber Serumun Deborah.


The governor appointed Barr. Deborah on the 10th of September, 2024.


According to him, his administration recognizes the important roles women play in society.


He added that the appointment of Barr. Aber, as the first female SSG in the state is a reflection of his government’s determination to elevate merit and diversity in leadership.


“As the first woman ever to be appointed as Secretary to the State Government in Benue State, Barr. Aber Serumun Deborah’s appointment is a testament to the confidence I and indeed this administration have in the abilities of the women of Benue.


“We recognise the important roles women play in our society and this appointment reflects our determination to elevate merit and diversity in leadership,” the governor emphasized.


He expressed confidence in the ability of the new SSG to carry out her assigned duties.


He noted that she will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective coordination of government activities, fostering collaboration across ministries and driving the policies and initiatives that will lead to the sustainable development of the state, assuring her of the full confidence of his administration.


The governor called on public servants, stakeholders and the entire people of Benue to give the new SSG and his administration the needed support to succeed, stating that the work of building the state involves collective efforts, urging all to support and collaborate with his administration in the pursuit of progress and development in the state.


Responding, the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Aber Serumun Deborah, appreciated God and Governor Hyacinth Alia, for the opportunity given her to serve the State as the first female SSG.


She promised to pilot the affairs of her office with diligence and dedication in line with the administration’s blueprint, setting the foundation for a better and more prosperous Benue.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
