 New UK Prime Minister not the leader Britain needs — Kemi Badenoch UK Conservative Party leader, Kemi Badenoch, has congratulated Andy Burnham on becoming Britain’s new prime minister but said while he is “a nice man,” the country needs a leader capable of making difficult decisions rather than “a people pleaser.” In a statement released on Monday on X following Burnham’s assumption of office, Badenoch wished the new prime minister success but vowed to hold his government accountable as Leader of the Opposition. “Today, Britain has a new Prime Minister. I wish Andy Burnham every success. Because we need a Prime Minister and a Government focused on fixing the public’s priorities,” she said.  2027 presidency: Saraki, Peter Obi answer to PDP – Primate Ayodele


The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has identified two imminent personalities who can return the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, back to power.


Primate Ayodele said former Senate President Bukola Saraki and Peter Obi have the capacity to return PDP back to power.


In a video he released, the clergyman said PDP should give it’s presidential ticket to Saraki and Obi.


According to Primate Ayodele, Saraki is a presidential material and not for chairmanship.


He said: “Saraki-Obi is the answer for PDP, Peter Obi should return to PDP and contest. There are other four people who can lift PDP back to the limelight, give them the ticket.


“If PDP want to win their subsequent election, David Mark is the answer. Saraki is not Chairman material but Presidency material.”


The PDP had lost the last two presidential elections to the All Progressives Congress, APC.


PDP is currently experiencing leadership crisis with members of the party calling for the removal of the acting Chairman, Umar Damagum.


Some PDP chieftains had claimed that Damagum would destroy the former ruling party.
