47 ETHIOPIAN NATIONALS RESCUED FROM A HUMAN TRAFFICKING RING IN JOHANNESBURG. (PHOTO).


 Forty-seven Ethiopian nationals have been rescued from a human trafficking ring in Buccleuch, Sandton, Johannesburg. 

On 16 October 2024, at approximately 7 p.m., authorities received a tip about kidnapped Ethiopian men. Upon investigating the address, they found the victims in dire conditions - some in only their underwear, others locked in rooms, and all deprived of basic necessities like food, water, clothing, and healthcare.
