 LAWMA SEALS PREMISES ON AGO PALACE WAY, ARRESTS 11 DUMPERS ON LAGOS ISLAND … Intensifies Enforcement Against Illegal Waste Disposal In renewed enforcement efforts, the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has sealed premises identified for persistent illegal waste dumping along Ago Palace Way and arrested 11 persons for illegal waste disposal in various parts of Lagos Island. The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of LAWMA, Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin, said that the enforcement operations underscored the Authority’s resolve to enforce existing waste management regulations and ensure compliance with approved waste disposal practices across Lagos. He explained that the Ago Palace Way operation covered plazas, hotels, lounges and warehouses along the corridor, as part of efforts to tackle activities contributing to waste build-up and environmental nuisance on road setbacks, medians and other unauthorised public spaces. A TRUCK HIT AND SMASHED A COASTER BUS FILLED WITH PASSENGERS WHILE DODGING CUSTOM OFFICERS AT OSHODI-ISOLO EXPRESSWAY. (PHOTO/VIDEO).#EXCLUSIVE

 Today Thursday the 11th of October 2024,an eyewitness reach out to PINK REPUBLIC TV/BLOG , sent this video with the caption 

"This just happened now Infront of Guardian news paper

Close to total bus stop oshodi-isolo express way, 3:06pm

3 custom officers were trying to stop a truck on high speed. There was a coaster bus Infront of the truck and another smaller truck Infront of the coaster bus.

The bigger truck was trying to run and dodge the custom officers and by so doing hit and smashed the coaster bus filled with passengers and then smashed against the smaller truck

The smaller truck fell and then the coaster bus was in-between the two trucks smashed

The custom officers ran away immediately the accident happened"

When I reached out to him if there were caulties, he replied "2 and some injured, It was just Infront of me".
