ACTOR ANIL KAPOOR DECLINES AN ENDORSEMENT DEAL, CITING HIS SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY TOWARDS HIS AUDIENCE. (PHOTO).

Anil Kapoor has once again garnered attention for prioritizing public health over financial gain. With a distinguished career spanning over four decades and more than 100 films, the 67-year-old actor has solidified his status as one of the industry’s most successful figures. Recently, Kapoor reportedly declined a Rs. 10 crore endorsement deal from a prominent pan masala brand, citing his sense of responsibility toward his audience.

According to Pinkvilla, Kapoor was offered a lucrative endorsement deal but chose to reject it. A source close to the actor remarked, “Anil Kapoor was approached by a major pan masala company with a tempting offer. However, he swiftly declined. He believes he has a responsibility to his fans and the broader audience and feels strongly about not endorsing products that could potentially harm public health, regardless of financial compensation.”

Over the years, Kapoor has become increasingly selective about the brands he associates with. He consistently promotes a healthy lifestyle and prioritizes his values over financial gain. He carefully selects the products he endorses, ensuring they align with his personal vision and public image. Recently, other celebrities, such as Kartik Aaryan and John Abraham, have also refused to endorse tobacco products.

Previously, celebrities including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, and Amitabh Bachchan have been associated with popular pan masala advertisements, facing criticism for their endorsements. Following the backlash, Kumar issued an apology and vowed never to endorse pan masala again.
