 ‘Friend Of A Thief Is A Thief’, Defence Minister Warns Terrorist Sponsors The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (rtd), has cautioned Nigerians against aiding terrorists, insurgents, bandits, or other criminal elements, stressing that anyone who supports criminal activities will face the full weight of the law. General Musa made the warning on Saturday while speaking as the Special Guest of Honour at the Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day 2026 Golf Tournament held at the TYB Golf Resort and Country Club, Yar’Adua Barracks, Abuja. Salman Khan, under Y-plus security due to death threats from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, faces challenges with crowd management during public appearances. 

His bodyguard Shera emphasizes the difficulty in keeping Khan safe amid escalating threats. Recently, Khan’s friend Baba Siddique was murdered by the gang, further heightening security concerns.


ACCORDING TO ANOTHER SOURCE:

Salman Khan has been facing death threats from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang for some time now. Earlier this year, his home was even shot at, prompting the actor to rely on his long-time bodyguard, Shera, for protection.

Following these alarming incidents, Salman’s security was enhanced to Y-plus level last year. Despite a robust security team dedicated to keeping him safe, Shera has mentioned a particular challenge they encounter in their efforts.

Speaking with ANI, Shera said, “Salman Khan has a threat to his life, the stars who have a threat to life it is difficult for them to go into the crowd. When you are in security, it is about taking a decision at the right time.” He said, “The biggest challenge is managing the crowd of his fans. We protect Salman bhai and local security takes care of the crowd management.”

Meanwhile, Salman’s security team is grappling with escalating death threats. Over the weekend, his close friend and political leader Baba Siddique was murdered, with a member of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang claiming responsibility for the killing and issuing a warning to Salman.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
