 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable.  Borno Gov Appoints NUJ Chair, Dauda Iliya as Special Adviser


Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum has appointed Alhaji Dauda Iliya as his official spokesperson and Special Adviser on Media, following the passing of Mallam Isa Gusau, who served in that role until his death in February 2024.


The governor’s decision was announced in a statement on Friday by his Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Abdurrahman Ahmed Bundi.


Dauda Iliya is currently the Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Borno State Chapter, and he hails from Kwaya-Kusar Local Government Area in southern Borno State. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English Linguistics and a master’s degree in Mass Communications, both from the University of Maiduguri, the latter of which he obtained in 2024.


Iliya has participated in numerous professional courses and trainings and is a member of several professional organizations, including the Nigerian Union of Journalists and the Society of Nigerian Broadcasters.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
