 FG reaffirms commitment to North-East inclusion in Agro-Industrial Project amid exclusion claims The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security has dismissed concerns raised by the North-East Caucus of the National Assembly regarding the alleged exclusion of the region from the Federal Government's flagship agricultural initiative the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ) program. The minister of agriculture and food security Sen. Abubakar Kyari made the clarification over the weekend while briefing the media. He noted that the North-East is not only included in the SAPZ program, but that several states from the region have already met the eligibility criteria for the second phase of the project. The response comes on the heels of public criticisms sparked by the recent groundbreaking ceremonies in Kaduna and Cross River states. Davido's response to Jarvis' request to spend a day with Chioma


Jadrolita requested to have a day or spend quality time with Davido’s wife, Chioma during a TikTok live session with the singer.

In response, Davido assured Jadrolita that he would talk to his wife about it.

Social media influencers Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja (Peller) and Elizabeth Aminata Amadu (Jadrolita or Jarvis) had a good time with music icon, Davido as they went live on TikTok.


The excitement was palpable as Davido, known for his generosity, asked the duo to make a request.

Jarvis ceased the opportunity, asking for a chance to spend a day or half a day with Davido’s wife, Chioma. Davido agreed to discuss it with Chioma, sending Jarvis into raptures.

Peller, though thrilled by Davido’s surprise appearance, humorously noted that his request was overlooked.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
