 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. HALLOWEEN: 12-YEAR-OLD BOY LOST HIS LIFE TRYING TO SCARE PEOPLE ON A MOVING HAYRIDE. (PHOTO).

 A 12-year-old Tennessee boy loses his life during a hayride when a prank goes wrong.


This sad incident unfolded at 10:45 p.m. in Harrison, Tennessee on October 11th. The Hamilton County, Tennessee Sheriff's Department were called to the 8200 block of Highway 58 at that time. 


Once on scene, the first responders were informed of events which lead up to a 12-year-old, Samuel Jesson, being discovered unresponsive in the roadway.


According to the children's chaperone for the evening at the Haunted Hilltop Hayride, the group of children he had been in charge of had hid in bushes along the hayride route. As the hayride passed, the children jumped out of their hiding spot in an attempt to scare the people on the hayride. Samuel had attempted to jump onto the trailer but he tragically slipped and fell under the tires.


He was subsequently ran over and was unresponsive after the accident. Sadly, the juvenile was pronounced deceased on the scene.


Our thoughts are with the family of Samuel Jessen and everyone on scene who witnessed this heartbreaking accident. He is gone much too soon.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
