 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Angels Okorie is clearing up some rumors that she claims to have seen swirling round the internet, regarding her supposed inability to pay rent.


In her post addressing the issue, Angela Okorie wrote;


”Nigerians if you guys believe that eviction story, that means you can believe anything on social media tufiakwa.


Although she didn’t attach the video itself, it is clear from her post that the former actress was upset that such rumors were going around in the first place.


Angela Okorie has been fighting many battles recently, ranging from celebrity beefs to netizens mocking her over the money she claimed to have made as an artist.


During her active years as an actor, Angela Okorie starred in an impressive number of movies, and she bagged a lot of awards along the way.


Angela Okorie starred in movies like Hooked, Sincerity, The Code, Parents Guard and many more.


At the peak of her acting career, Angela Okorie took a lot of lead roles, which made her one of the most prominent faces in Nollywood as at that time.
