 Zango Kataf, Jaba PDP Committees Hold Reconciliation Meeting Ahead Of 2027 Elections The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Working Committees in Zango Kataf and Jaba Local Government Areas have held a strategic reconciliation meeting aimed at strengthening party unity and positioning the party for success in the 2027 general elections. The meeting, held on Friday, July 31, 2026, in Jaba Local Government Area, was jointly chaired by the PDP Chairmen of Jaba and Zango Kataf LGAs, Sabastine David Bijiri and Martins Markus Koyah. It brought together party executives, stakeholders, ward officials, elders, youth and women leaders, as well as members from both local government areas. Speaking at the meeting, the Zango Kataf PDP Chairman commended party leaders and members for supporting the zoning of the party’s House of Representatives ticket to Zango Kataf Local Government Area.  Independence Celebration:  Olukoyede Charges Nigerians on Renewed Commitment in Fight against Corruption

 

As Nigerians are basking in the euphoria of the nation’s 64th Independence Anniversary,  Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  Mr. Ola Olukoyede has called for more commitment to  the fight against economic and financial crimes and other acts of corruption in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.


He made the call in Abuja on Tuesday,  October 1,  2024  in an Independence Anniversary Message to Nigerians.  


According to him,  the EFCC is more resolute in its drive to make Nigeria corruption-free and charges every Nigerian to collaborate more  with the Commission in pursuit of reform, progress and enduring development.


“At the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC,  we are resolute in our fight against corruption in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.  As we celebrate our 64th INDEPENDENCE,  let us forge ahead in pursuit of reform,  progress and enduring development”, he said.


He expressed optimism that Nigeria can get better, rule the world and conquer corruption through enhanced commitment, passion and drives of every Nigerian.  “We can make Nigeria greater.  We can rule the world.  We can conquer corruption!”, he said.
