 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly. INDIA: 16-YEAR-OLD GIRL WAS ALLEGEDLY RAPED REPEATEDLY BY HER FATHER. (PHOTO).

 In a disturbing case, police officials reported that a 16-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh was allegedly raped repeatedly by her father. According to rural police superintendent Sagar Jain, the victim’s mother died a decade ago, which left her vulnerable to the alleged abuse.


This week, the brave teenager gathered the courage to report the heinous crime to the police, recounting the horrific experiences she endured at the hands of her father. She revealed that whenever she protested or resisted, he would brutally beat her. Despite her family members being informed about the situation and the Panchayat issuing a warning to her father, the alleged abuse continued.


Based on her complaint, an FIR was registered, and the victim was sent for a medical examination. The accused father has been arrested, and further investigation is currently ongoing, as confirmed by Superintendent Jain. This disturbing incident underscores the urgent need for greater awareness and support for victims of child abuse.
