INDIAN: A HOUSEKEEPING STAFF MEMBER AT A PRIVATE SCHOOL WAS ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY SEXUALLY ASSAULTING A THREE- YEAR-OLD-GIRL ON THE SCHOOL GROUNDS. (PHOTO).

A housekeeping staff member at a private school in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a three-year-old girl on the school grounds.

Additionally, a teacher and the school’s security supervisor were taken into custody for allegedly concealing the incident, according to police reports. Nithyanand, a resident of Nithari village in Noida, had been working as a contract sweeper for a few months. He is accused of taking the girl to a secluded area outside the school’s CCTV coverage and sexually assaulting her.

After noticing their daughter was unusually quiet upon returning from school, her parents took her to a doctor due to severe abdominal pain. In a complaint filed at the Sector 20 police station on October 10, the family reported that a private doctor, upon examining the child, discovered injuries to her private areas and suggested possible molestation.

After counseling, the child revealed that the staff member, known as “khana bhaiya,” had poked her private parts with a stick. She also indicated that this was the second incident, the first time being on the school playground. When she told a teacher about the incident, she was advised not to discuss it at home. The mother later confronted the teacher, who dismissed the matter again, leading the parent to file an FIR with the police.

Following an investigation, police found that the girl’s class teacher and the school’s security supervisor were aware of the assault but did not report it to authorities. They were arrested on Thursday and charged with concealing a crime.
