 ‘Empty barrels’ – Otti dismisses Uzor Kalu, Orji, Ikpeazu opposition gang-up Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has urged Abians to disregard recent remarks by some leaders of the opposition in the state. Governor Otti who was speaking on Saturday at Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Umuoriehi, Umuahia North LGA, during the dedication of the church building, said that those who are gathering against him were the same people that failed to develop the state in the past. Otti was reacting to an alliance formed against his re-election by former Abia governors Orji Uzor Kalu, Theodore Orji and Okezie Ikpeazu. The governor slammed the opposition members for pursuing personal interest above the collective development of Abia, declaring that every gathering they are making against him would collapse.  It takes humility for him to apologize” – Evangelist Mike Bamiloye reacts to Pastor Adeboye’s apology over tithing


Nigerian clergyman Evangelist Mike Bamiloye has reacted to Pastor Adeboye’s apology over tithing.


We reported on Friday that in a video captured online, the Redeemed Christian Church of God founder admitted that his statement saying those who don’t pay tithe wouldn’t make heaven is wrong as it isn’t stated in the Bible. He noted how what the Bible talks about is following peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see God.


His apology was well received by netizens who praised him for his maturity.


Also praising him, Mike Bamiloye via his Instagram page, noted how it takes humility for a man like him to apologize. He stated that if God hadn’t corrected him in the secret, he wouldn’t have done that.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
