 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable.  Kwara Govt Distributes Cheques for Solar-Powered Boreholes, Toilets in 20 Communities


As part of the recommendations from the Kwara Community-Based Organisations (CBOs) summit, organized by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant on Community Development to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Community Project Management Committees (CPMCs) have received cheques for the construction of 20 solar-powered motorized boreholes and 20 toilets across the state.


This was shared via the social media pages of Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe, the SSA on Community Development to the Governor, and was obtained by Just Event Online TV on Friday.


The 20 benefiting communities, spanning all 16 Local Government Areas, include Makebe, Idi-Ose, Aribidesi, Gaa-Mudi, Taiwo, Aboki, Balogun, Osunte, Apado, Ganmo, Areyi, Oke-Oyi Isin, Idi-Ogede, Illofa, Etan, Onisapa, Rokogi, Pakata, Oke-Suna, Kulende, and Idofin-Igbanna.


The projects were initiated in partnership with the Kwara State Community and Social Development Agency (KWASCDA) and the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA).
