 NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT.  Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar  and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination.  A reinforcement team  from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision.  Kwara Govt Distributes Cheques for Solar-Powered Boreholes, Toilets in 20 Communities


As part of the recommendations from the Kwara Community-Based Organisations (CBOs) summit, organized by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant on Community Development to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Community Project Management Committees (CPMCs) have received cheques for the construction of 20 solar-powered motorized boreholes and 20 toilets across the state.


This was shared via the social media pages of Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe, the SSA on Community Development to the Governor, and was obtained by Just Event Online TV on Friday.


The 20 benefiting communities, spanning all 16 Local Government Areas, include Makebe, Idi-Ose, Aribidesi, Gaa-Mudi, Taiwo, Aboki, Balogun, Osunte, Apado, Ganmo, Areyi, Oke-Oyi Isin, Idi-Ogede, Illofa, Etan, Onisapa, Rokogi, Pakata, Oke-Suna, Kulende, and Idofin-Igbanna.


The projects were initiated in partnership with the Kwara State Community and Social Development Agency (KWASCDA) and the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA).

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
