 NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT.  Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar  and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination.  A reinforcement team  from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision. LASG ANNOUNCES NIGHT TRAFFIC DIVERSION FOR INSTALLATION OF TRUCK BARRIER. (PHOTO). #PRESS RELEASE.

 The Lagos State Government has announced a night traffic diversion for the installation of a truck barrier at Ojuelegba Flyover Bridge by Fire Station, between 10.00 pm on Saturday, 5th October and 5.00 am on Sunday, 6th October, 2024. 


Consequently, Motorists are advised to use the diversion route below during the night time installation of the barriers;


Motorists from Eko Bridge, Costain and Iponri inbound Ojuelegba are advised to use the Service Lane from National Stadium gate to link Barracks to access their desired destinations.


The Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi implored Motorists to be patient as the brief closure of the bridge is planned for night time as part of traffic management strategy to avert further accidents and loss of lives.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
