 El-Rufai to remain in custody as court adjourns bail application to April 14 Justice Rilwanu Aikawa of a Federal High Court in Kaduna has adjourned the hearing of the bail application filed by former Kaduna State governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, to April 14th. The bail application of the former governor came up before the court today. April 1. The court adjourned the case after listening to arguments from both the defence and prosecution  El-Rufai was arraigned by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on a 10-count charge bordering on alleged conversion of public property and money laundering. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges. The court ordered that he remain in ICPC custody pending the hearing of his bail application on the fixed date. The former governor arrived at the court premises around 9:00 a.m. in a black Hilux vehicle, accompanied by DSS officials.

 LASTMA launches investigation into a viral video of young content creators filming in traffic in Victoria Island, Lagos state


The attention of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has been drawn to a viral video on social media, depicting two individuals in a grey Camry (AAA 62 EL) enacting a scene on Ozumba Mbadiwe Road, Victoria Island, without official authorization.


The Agency seeks to assure the public that an investigation has been promptly initiated, and that appropriate action will be taken, utilizing the vehicle's registration number in strict compliance with the Lagos State Transport Sector Reform Law of 2018.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
