 UK secondary schools will start screening Netflix’s hit show Adolescence as part of a government-sponsored program to teach students about the dangers of misogyny.  The show, praised for its sensitive portrayal of complex issues, will be used in classrooms to spark discussions about harmful online influences. Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who watched the series with his teenage children, said it was a powerful tool to help young people navigate modern challenges. Starmer emphasized the importance of addressing the content young people consume and the conversations they have with their peers. He stated that by listening to young people and charities, society can better understand and tackle the issues raised in the show.  Lift others along with you” – Davido breaks silence following his beef with Wizkid


Davido has broken his silence on his drama with Wizkid, and it isn’t what many netizens expected. The singer made a post on Instagram, talking about being authentic to one’s craft, being resilient in your journey in life, and lifting others up on the way.


Although Davido didn’t outrightly mention Wizkid’s name, his many aspects of his post still brushed on his beef with the singer. Take note that Davido mentioned the importance of staying true to one’s craft, when he was just mocked by Wizkid for having a ‘wack’ career.


Also, Davido mentioned the importance of lifting others up along the way, which coincides directly with what Wizkid said about Davido’s aides being broke, and his Lawyer Bobo following him around.


Davido’s post had many hidden messages, some of which has been able to dissect in relation to his beef with Wizkid.


Wizkid laid a slew of allegations against Davido during his rant, ranging from calling his career wack, down to accusing him of not taking care of his staff. Davido’s Lawyer caught a stray, when Wizkid said that he follows the singer around, instead of doing his job.


He also insinuated that Davido accepts just about any endorsement, regardless of whether the budget is big or not. According to Wizkid Puma had offered him less money than he wanted, so he declined to work with them, but Davido went ahead and accepted the offer.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
