  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta Platforms, has surpassed Amazon founder Jeff Bezos to become the second-richest person in the world, marking a remarkable comeback in his financial journey.


Zuckerberg’s net worth has reached 206. 2 billion dollars, overtaking Bezos's 205.1 billion dollars as per the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, 2024.


The total net worth of the Meta CEO has now exceeded the GDP of Kuwait which is 160.4 billion dollars.

Zuckerberg is now roughly 50 billion dollars behind Tesla CEO Elon Musk


Zuckerberg's net worth soared to $206.2 billion, propelled by Meta's stellar performance and strong investor confidence in the company's ambitious push into artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR).

The dramatic rise in Zuckerberg's fortune has been fuelled by a 23% increase in Meta’s stock price since its better-than-expected Q2 results.
