Kaduna businessman drags ex fiancee’s father to court, demands dowry refund A businessman, Nasiru Dayyabu, on Wednesday, dragged the father of his ex-fiance, Mallam Sani Direba, to Shari’a Court II sitting at Magajin Gari, Kaduna over N260,000 dowry. The complainant had joined Direba in the suit against two brothers demanding a refund of N250, 000 dowry and N10,000 introduction money he paid to marry his daughter. Represented by his counsel, Mr Sani Sunusi, the complainant told the court that he sent his people from Karaye, Kano State to Kaduna in 2025, to seek for the defendant’s daughter’s hand in marriage. “We paid the dowry and the introduction money (kudin gausuwa) and were waiting for them to set a date for the wedding,” he said. “Unfortunately, the lady’s father called to inform us that they have cancelled the marriage.” The counsel said the complainant had asked for the refund of his money since Sept. 2025 but all the efforts he made proved abortive.  No Retreat No Surrender Justice for Mohbad continue - Nigeria Actor and Activists Yomi Fabiyi vow to see the end of justice for Mohbad case.


Actor Yomi Fabiyi have continue the investigation of the killer of the Nigeria singer Ileri Oluwa Aloba aka Mohbad. 


The actor show some threats he got on the continue investigation of Mohbad death on his verified social media.


On his caption Yomi Fabiyi said 

This was one of the threats sent to one of Mohbad’s neighbors on the 11th of September, 2024, prior to our meeting, so we can meet with the IT guy in charge of the house cctv. I was meant to obtain the cctv footage of what happened inside the house, showing how Mohbad died and what transpired. MOHBAD WAS LEFT TO DIE, AND THEY NEVER GET HIM MEDICAL ATTENTION.


Those in the house knew what happened. There were active CCTV in Mohbad’s staircase, living room, kitchen, backyard, and front gate. I mean bold to say it that they were all working as at the time Mohbad breathed his last. The few neighbors' cctv close to his house also have overwhelming details and accounts, too.


JUSTICE FOR MOHBAD IS NON NEGOTIABLE. If the Police and government want to kill more people just to cover up or want more people to die before they investigate thoroughly and allow these truth to be out, it is up to honest people and Nigerians to accept
