 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. PRESIDENT TINUBU GREETS POLITICAL ALLY, CHIEF HENRY AJOMALE AT 80

 

President Bola Tinubu congratulates Chief Henry Ajomale, the former chairman of the Action Congress (AC), Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), and the All-Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, on his 80th birthday.  

 

President Tinubu rejoices with the lawyer, businessman and political ally, who also served as Commissioner for Special Duties in Lagos State during the President's tenure as governor.  

 

The President acknowledges Chief Ajomale’s lifetime of service, selfless leadership and immense contributions to the state and the nation. 

 

He believes that Chief Ajomale’s remarkable leadership qualities have been evident since his early days as a student union leader and have shone through his work in the courtroom, boardroom, political arena, and active membership of Lagos State's well-respected Governance Advisory Council (GAC).  

 

As family, friends, political associates and well-wishers celebrate Baba Ajomale, President Tinubu prays for the continued well-being of the octogenarian and all members of his household.
