 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. Veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo Kanayo has joined many in bemoaning the hardship in the country


The veteran, via his Instagram page, shared a TikTok video of two dogs living a better lifestyle overseas. In the clips, the dogs, who were dressed in pajamas and sleeping on a luxury bed, were woken up by their owner. The owner of the dogs shared a glimpse of the luxury breakfast she makes for her dog daily.


Reacting to it, Kanayo said he woke up unhappy after seeing the video because of the hunger in Nigeria. He expressed sadness at how dogs could be sleeping on better beds and eating better food than most Nigerians. He questioned how people can compare living as a human dig or being in Nigeria.


Sending a message to Nigerians, he told the citizens that God would be with them as he prayed for them.
