 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. Nigerian human rights lawyer Femi Falana has accused supporters of VeryDarkMan of threatening his family, specifically stating they would kill his daughter if he pursued legal action against VDM.

The conflict arose after VDM made controversial claims about Femi Falana and his son, rapper Folarin ‘Falz’ Falana, while exposing Bobrisky on social media.

In an interview with Sahara Reporters, Falana stated that the most troubling aspect of the situation is the safety of his children.

Nigerian human rights lawyer Femi Falana has raised alarm over alleged threats made against his family in connection with his ongoing dispute with online critic VeryDarkMan (VDM).


In a recent inteFalana revealed that he has received disturbing messages from VDM’s supporters, warning that they would harm his daughter if he pursued legal action against the critic.

The conflict between the Falanas and VDM intensified after VDM made claims regarding Falana and his son, rapper Folarin ‘Falz’ Falana, while also exposing controversial figure Bobrisky on social media.

According to Falana, the most alarming aspect of this situation is the safety of his children.


He recounted instances where individuals threatened to burn down his office and issued dire warnings to his daughter regarding potential harm should he decide to go to court.

“The only disturbing area in this scenario is the threat to me and one of my two daughters, some of these guys who I believe are mentally deranged had dared me, “if you go to court, we shall burn your office”. They have also sent messages to one of my daughters that if your father goes to court, we shall kill you. I beg your pardon! In this country?! I just laughed and told my girl, don’t worry, I will take it up and I’ve already taken that up because we must also let these guys know where we are coming from,” Falana said.
