 NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT.  Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar  and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination.  A reinforcement team  from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision.  This time last year I was fighting for my life” – Tania Omotayo recounts near-death experience as she opens up on being misdiagnosed


Tania Omotayo, the ex-girlfriend of music star Wizkid, has opened up about being misdiagnosed.


In a post on her Snapchat page, she revealed that this time last year, she was fighting for her life and it took almost 2 months to recover. According to her, this stemmed from her being misdiagnosed, but in all things, she is grateful as she asserted that God is good.
