 World’s Youngest Reigning Monarch , King Oyo, Dies at 34 King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional ruler of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom who became the world’s youngest reigning monarch after ascending the throne at three, has died at the age of 34. The monarch reportedly died on Thursday, with the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, announcing his death on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. However, Ugandan media reports quoted a government minister as saying that King Oyo had been critically ill and was receiving medical treatment in the United States. Reacting to the development, Akiiki described the monarch’s death as a major loss to the royal family and the people of Tooro. He urged members of the kingdom to remain united and calm while mourning the traditional ruler.  Tragic Road Accident Claims Six Lives in Ibadan


A devastating road accident in Ibadan, Oyo State, claimed six lives and left five others injured on Monday morning when a trailer lost control and collided with two tricycles. 


The crash, which occurred on Akanran Road, involved a trailer carrying tiles and a lorry loaded with soft drinks, resulting in severe injuries, including that of a child whose mother tragically died in the incident. Eyewitnesses report that the trailer’s brake failure caused the chaos, while the local hospital confirmed they treated several victims, including two school children.
