 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event.  We Miss You So Much’ – Mr Ibu’s Wife Celebrates Late Husband’s Posthumous Birthday


Stella Maris, the wife of late Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, has paid tribute to her late husband on what would have been his 63rd birthday.


We recalls that Mr Ibu died on 2nd March 2024 at the age of 62 after a prolonged battle with illness.


In  an Instagram post on Thursday, accompanied by photos of their family, Stella recalled how the veteran actor cherished and celebrated his birthdays.


She wrote, “Today is my late husband’s birthday (Mr. IBU). This will mark the first birthday without him celebrating with us here.


“I can’t forget how he used to cherish and celebrate his birthdays. We miss him so much. May his soul continue to rest in eternal peace. Amen.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
