In a shocking incident in Chennai’s Injambakkam area, a 40-year-old headmistress has been arrested following serious allegations of sexual assault against a 22-year-old female teacher. The incident reportedly occurred after the headmistress invited the younger teacher to her residence under the pretext of discussing preparations for upcoming half-yearly examinations. This invitation turned into a disturbing encounter as the headmistress allegedly spiked the teacher’s drink.

After consuming the drink, the young teacher lost consciousness. Upon regaining awareness, she discovered herself in a vulnerable state, semi-naked and bearing visible injuries, leading to immediate concern for her safety and well-being.

This alarming revelation prompted her to seek help, resulting in a formal complaint being made at the Thiruvanmiyur all-women police station. The police took swift action in response to the complaint, leading to the headmistress’s arrest.

The police investigation has revealed that the accused headmistress and the victim had reportedly been meeting prior to this incident, which raises further questions regarding the nature of their relationship and interactions. As the inquiry continues, authorities are focusing on gathering additional evidence and testimonies related to the case to establish a clearer understanding of the events that unfolded.
