 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.  Cameroon: Another Accident Claims 4 Lives, Including Wife of Limbe Police Chief


A tragic road accident occurred on Friday morning between Boumnyebel and Pouma, leaving four people dead. Among the victims was the wife of the police commissioner from Limbe, who was traveling to Yaoundé.


The collision happened around 8 AM on the road connecting the two towns in Cameroon’s Centre Region. The exact cause of the crash is still unclear, but two vehicles collided head-on, resulting in the deaths of all four people involved.


A witness described the scene as devastating, with significant damage to the vehicles and multiple fatalities. One of the victims was the wife of the Limbe police chief, who was making a personal trip to Yaoundé.
