 ‎ACTDA Urges Proper Housing Planning to Prevent Slums and Build a Livable Awka ‎By Sylvia Tochukwu-Ngige ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎A house without a plan becomes a slum. A city without planning becomes chaos. That is the core message from the Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, ACTDA, as Anambra’s population grows. For ACTDA, housing planning is not just about putting up structures. It is about creating safe, affordable, and dignified communities with roads, water, electricity, drainage, schools, hospitals, markets, and security built in from the start. When developers plan first, they avoid the cost of fixing problems later.   ‎ ‎ ‎ACTDA is the government agency in charge of planning, developing, and regulating the Awka Capital Territory. AN ARIZONA MAN JUMPS OUT OF A ROLLER- COASTER AFTER HIS LAP BAR BECAME UNLOCKED. (PHOTO).

 An Arizona man jumps out of a roller-coaster after his lap bar became unlocked. 


A man was captured on video bailing out of the Desert Storm roller coaster at Castles N' Coasters amusement park right before the rides big drop. The man, whose name hasn't been shared, claims that he had to jump out after his lap bar came unlocked.


The man said, "It was just adrenaline, and I just didn't want to die that day."


After jumping onto a platform at the apex of the ride the man used the emergency stairs to climb down.


 He says the park manager offered to refund his money after the mishap. He feels more needs to be done to ensure rider safety after the harrowing incident. The ride has been closed since the incident.


Would you have jumped out or just tried to hold on? I play it the safest way, by not riding roller coasters.
