The governor declared NOCEN poised to achieve world-class status, with plans to elevate it to an autonomous, degree-awarding institution in the near future.

Highlighting key initiatives, Gov. Soludo announced a significant increase in the school's subvention starting January 2025. He also pledged to modernize the institution with Wi-Fi services, revamped infrastructure, restore basic amenities like power and water, and improve road networks within the campus.
