 New UK Prime Minister not the leader Britain needs — Kemi Badenoch UK Conservative Party leader, Kemi Badenoch, has congratulated Andy Burnham on becoming Britain’s new prime minister but said while he is “a nice man,” the country needs a leader capable of making difficult decisions rather than “a people pleaser.” In a statement released on Monday on X following Burnham’s assumption of office, Badenoch wished the new prime minister success but vowed to hold his government accountable as Leader of the Opposition. “Today, Britain has a new Prime Minister. I wish Andy Burnham every success. Because we need a Prime Minister and a Government focused on fixing the public’s priorities,” she said. Global superstar Beyoncé will headline the halftime show for the 2024 NFL Christmas Day game between the Houston Texans and the Baltimore Ravens. The singer announced the exciting news on her Instagram, revealing that she will perform during the high-profile matchup.


Beyoncé’s performance is expected to feature her hit song "Cowboy Carter" from her groundbreaking country album, marking its debut in a live performance.


This will not be her first appearance at a major NFL event—she previously headlined Super Bowl XLVII in 2013 and performed alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars during the 2016 championship game.
