 Legendary actor Manoj Kumar dies at 87: ‘Roti Kapada Aur Makaan’ director breathes his last in Mumbai Manoj Kumar, the Bollywood actor and filmmaker, renowned for his patriotic films, passed away at the age of 87 at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. The cause of his death was identified as cardiogenic shock due to acute myocardial infarction, according to medical reports. The medical reports confirmed that apart from a severe heart attack that took away his life, Manoj had been battling decompensated liver cirrhosis for the past few months, ANI reported. Following deteriorating health condition, he was admitted to the hospital on February 21, 2025. Popularly known as ‘Bharat Kumar,’ Manoj Kumar was an exceptional director and actor who was honoured with National Film Award. Global superstar Beyoncé will headline the halftime show for the 2024 NFL Christmas Day game between the Houston Texans and the Baltimore Ravens. The singer announced the exciting news on her Instagram, revealing that she will perform during the high-profile matchup.


Beyoncé’s performance is expected to feature her hit song "Cowboy Carter" from her groundbreaking country album, marking its debut in a live performance.


This will not be her first appearance at a major NFL event—she previously headlined Super Bowl XLVII in 2013 and performed alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars during the 2016 championship game.


At 43, Beyoncé has recently made history as the most-nominated artist in Grammy history, securing 11 nominations for this season’s awards.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
