 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  Health Minister Warns Against Fake LITACOLD Medicine on the Market


Cameroonian Health Minister Manaouda Malachie has issued a warning about a counterfeit medicine called LITACOLD, which is being sold in the country. The medicine is meant to relieve nasal congestion and sinus issues, but it is not authorized for sale in Cameroon.


The minister explained that the genuine LITACOLD, which was approved for sale in Cameroon in 2018, is manufactured by GENERIC HEALTHCARE PVT Ltd from India. However, a version of LITACOLD, produced by a different company, MEDICALE PHARMACEUTIQUE, does not have the proper approval to be sold in the country.


Manaouda Malachie has urged the public and health professionals to be cautious and ensure that the fake LITACOLD is not in their stock. If found, it should be immediately removed from distribution and put under quarantine.


This alert comes as part of ongoing efforts to protect public health and prevent the spread of counterfeit drugs.
