 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Health Minister Warns Against Fake LITACOLD Medicine on the Market


Cameroonian Health Minister Manaouda Malachie has issued a warning about a counterfeit medicine called LITACOLD, which is being sold in the country. The medicine is meant to relieve nasal congestion and sinus issues, but it is not authorized for sale in Cameroon.


The minister explained that the genuine LITACOLD, which was approved for sale in Cameroon in 2018, is manufactured by GENERIC HEALTHCARE PVT Ltd from India. However, a version of LITACOLD, produced by a different company, MEDICALE PHARMACEUTIQUE, does not have the proper approval to be sold in the country.


Manaouda Malachie has urged the public and health professionals to be cautious and ensure that the fake LITACOLD is not in their stock. If found, it should be immediately removed from distribution and put under quarantine.


This alert comes as part of ongoing efforts to protect public health and prevent the spread of counterfeit drugs.
