 Nigerian Woman Arrested in Major Drug Seizure in India A 40-year-old Nigerian woman, Roselime Oluchi Ikeoha, was arrested in Bengaluru, India, in connection with one of the city’s largest drug trafficking busts. The Anti-Narcotics wing of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) recovered 12 kilograms of MDMA, a powerful synthetic drug, from her possession, valued at approximately ₹24 crore. Police Commissioner B. Dayananda confirmed the arrest, describing the seizure as one of the biggest in Bengaluru and Karnataka. Investigations revealed that Ikeoha had been running a grocery store in the TC Palya area for five years, which allegedly served as a front for her drug distribution activities. “This is one of the largest drug seizures in Bengaluru and Karnataka. The CCB team successfully dismantled an international MDMA crystal drug network, seizing 12 kg of pure white and yellow MDMA,” Dayananda stated. Mama Rainbow, one of the oldest living Nollywood veterans, humbly thanked God for guiding and helping her.


She shared a video of herself looking young and energetic on her Instagram page, accompanied by the letter.


She is thankful for the grace, life and mercy that sustained her from birth through every trial and triumph.


She acknowledged God’s unwavering presence, help, and strength during her weakness, as well as her faithfulness and protection.

  SSANU, NASU threaten strike over withheld salaries The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have threatened to disrupt industrial peace in universities should the government fail to release the withheld salaries of members. The salaries were seized by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari during their strike in 2022. The unions, in a joint letter signed on Friday by the President of SSANU, Muhammed Ibrahim and General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, questioned the rationale with which the government released four months withheld salaries to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities but failed to release the withheld salaries of non-academic staff.
