 GOVERNMENT OF RIVERS STATE   PRESS STATEMENT  MY DECISION TO WITHDRAW FROM THE RIVERS  STATE  GUBERNATORIAL PRIMARIES  Fellow Rivers People, After deep reflection and extensive consultations with my family, friends, and associates, I have taken the difficult but necessary decision to withdraw from the APC gubernatorial primaries. I do so with a full heart and with a firm commitment to support whoever emerges as the candidate of our great party. Leadership is ultimately about sacrifice. There comes a time when personal ambition must yield to the greater good of the people. Rivers State is bigger than any individual, and at this critical moment, the peace, stability, and unity of our dear state must take precedence over every personal interest. Media personality and luxury brand owner Toke Makinwa has revealed the reasons why she ditched her date last night.


Taking to the micro blogging platform, X, formerly known as Twitter, Toke Makinwa disclosed that she was supposed to be on a date but her love for K-drama forbidden her from doing so.


While expressing desires that her date will not find her post, she compared dates to an interview which she will gladly skip to watch a Korean series titled, Captivating the King.


She tweeted, “I cancelled a date tonight cos of K drama. I hope he doesn’t see this o hut Dates these days be like interview, ma bimi ni jamb questions Jo let me watch captivating the king in peace.”


Hilarious reactions trail the post as many joked along with her while she engaged them in the comment section.
