 Why I want to capture Ayra Starr – Ugandan President’s son, Muhoozi Kaineruga Tongues wag as Muhoozi Kainerugaba,son of Uganda’s president, Yoweri Museveni, makes a bold declaration about renowned Afrobeats singer, Ayra Starr. Ayra Starr delivered an epic performance at the 27th edition of Blankets and Wine in July 2024, performing alongside renowned South African duo, Blaq Diamond Muhoozi Kainerugaba made the declaration about the Mavin Records label signee in a recent tweet on X (formerly Twitter). According to him, his late grandfather gave him permission to pursue any woman he desires, and boldly declaredthat he will “capture” Ayra Starr.  EFCC Arrests Suspected Internet Fraudster in Abuja


Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, 27 November 2024, arrested one suspected internet fraudster. 


 The suspect was arrested at No.25 Aliyu Modibbo Street, Guzape Hills, Abuja following credible intelligence on his alleged involvement in internet fraud.

Items recovered from him include  a Range Rover Velar 2019 model, $4100 (Four Thousand One Hundred United States Dollars), N2,000,000 (Two Million Naira) cash, One AP silver wrist watch, two mobile phones and one laptop.

 

He will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations.

  SSANU, NASU threaten strike over withheld salaries The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have threatened to disrupt industrial peace in universities should the government fail to release the withheld salaries of members. The salaries were seized by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari during their strike in 2022. The unions, in a joint letter signed on Friday by the President of SSANU, Muhammed Ibrahim and General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, questioned the rationale with which the government released four months withheld salaries to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities but failed to release the withheld salaries of non-academic staff.
